Women are traditionally the primary healthcare decision makers and caregivers for their families. Yet far too often women find it difficult to care for themselves because they are meeting everyone else’s needs. Keeping women healthy is beneficial to their families, our communities, and our society.
The Women’s Wellness and Survivorship Center is the first of its kind in the Gulf South Region. The Center provides holistic, coordinated care using a comprehensive approach to attend to a woman’s unique healthcare needs. Now women across the region will be able to empower their healthcare journey and navigate treatment options for such health decisions as menopause, perimenopause, sexual dysfunction, weight-loss, cardiovascular disease risk assessment, genetic cancer screening and mental health. The Center also offers a unique survivorship program that helps women in need of specialized gynecologic care related to their cancer diagnosis or treatment.
By purchasing a ticket to High Tea on the Turf, you are supporting our mothers, sisters, wives, partners and friends that we fondly call family through the Women’s Wellness and Survivorship Center at Ochsner Baptist.
